Cretaceous

The Cretaceous Period started 252 million years ago, and lasted until 201 million years ago. Unfortunately, not much is known about the dinosaurs of this period because it was so long ago.

Here's a list of prolific dinosaurs during the Cretaceous Period:

• The Tyrannasaurus Rex was a carnivorous Dinosaur that lived in Western North America and is considered one of the first dinosaurs to ever live.
• The Herrasaurus also lived in South America and was one of the earliest dinosaurs.
